Vu has more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of financial areas, including Banking, Investment, CorporateAdvisory and Property Development. With his decades-long career at the helm of both international and local corporations, Vu is a sought-after mentor and advisor to both VSV Capital portfolio companies as well as those outside of it.

Before becoming General Partner at VSV Capital, he has been deeply involved with developing the start up ecosystem in Vietnam via advising for thelocal government, co-launching the first startup accelerator in Vietnam, mentoring startups and also making angel investments. Vu is also a long-time mentor for growth-stage startups at Endeavor Vietnam.

Vu has been CEO at Vietnam International Bank (VIB) for 15 years, where he successfully took the company public. Previously, he spent over 15 years holding leadership positions at multinational banks Credit Lyonnais (now LCL Banque et Assurance) and Citibank in Vietnam. Vu earned an MBA from Solvay Brussels School and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, United States.
